TODO Planner & Task Management ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you use our mobile application.

• Name and email address (via Google Sign-In)
• Profile picture (optional, via Google Sign-In)
• Device information and FCM tokens for push notifications

Task and Team Data:

• Tasks you create, including titles, descriptions, deadlines, and priorities
• Team information and assignments
• Task status updates and activity logs

Google Calendar Data:

• When you connect Google Calendar, we access your calendar events to create and sync task deadlines
• We only create, update, or delete events that you explicitly create through our app
• We do not read, modify, or share your existing personal calendar events

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the collected information to:

• Provide and maintain our task management service
• Authenticate users via Google Sign-In
• Sync task deadlines with your Google Calendar (if connected)
• Send push notifications for task assignments and updates
• Enable team collaboration features
• Improve our app's functionality and user experience

3. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored securely using Google Firebase services, including:

• Firebase Authentication: Secure user authentication
• Cloud Firestore: Encrypted database for tasks and teams
• Firebase Cloud Messaging: Push notifications
• Firebase Storage: Secure file storage

We implement industry-standard security measures including encryption, role-based access control, and secure API communications to protect your data.

4. Data Sharing

We do NOT sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties.

We may share data only in the following limited circumstances:

• With your team members: Task information is shared with team members you explicitly add
• Service providers: Google Firebase for hosting and authentication
• Legal requirements: If required by law or to protect our rights

5. Google Calendar Integration

When you connect Google Calendar to TODO Planner:

• We request permission to manage calendar events on your behalf
• We ONLY create events for tasks you explicitly create in our app
• We do NOT access, read, or modify your existing personal calendar events
• You can disconnect Google Calendar at any time from the app settings
• Disconnecting will delete all task-related events we created

6. Your Rights and Choices

You have the right to:

• Access your personal data stored in our app
• Update or correct your information
• Delete your account and all associated data
• Disconnect Google Calendar integration at any time
• Opt out of push notifications

Our service is not intended for children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
